IM Motors Completes 40,000th Vehicle, Expands Domestic Service Network
IM Motors announced on Monday that its 40,000th vehicle has rolled off the production line. The automaker also stated it is continuing to build out its domestic service network.
IM Motors announced on Monday that its 40,000th vehicle has completed production. This milestone follows a notable acceleration in manufacturing output, with the company's 20,000th vehicle completed in December 2025 and the 30,000th in May 2026.
The company also confirmed its ongoing efforts to expand its domestic service network, with national experience centers being progressively established. IM Motors CEO Yan Feng had previously set a global sales target of 30,000 vehicles for 2026.
IM Motors, a venture co-founded by smart home appliance maker Stone Technology, launched its first model, the mid-to-large sized luxury SUV IM Motors 01, in August 2023. The vehicles are manufactured under contract by Beijing Automotive Manufacturing Plant and feature an extended-range hybrid powertrain.
The company has expanded its presence to over 40 countries in the Middle East and Africa, with overseas sales constituting a significant portion of its total deliveries. IM Motors signed an agreement in June 2026 to establish local production in Egypt, slated to begin in 2027.
