Imarticus Learning Acquires Singapore's BELLS Institute for ₹800 Crore Ahead of IPO
Indian edtech firm Imarticus Learning has acquired Singapore-based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning for ₹800 crore. The deal is part of the company's preparation for a ₹1,000 crore initial public offering.

Imarticus Learning, an Indian edtech startup preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), has acquired Singapore-based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning for ₹800 crore (approximately $9.6 million USD). This marks Imarticus' first international acquisition and is intended to strengthen its presence in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian market.
The acquisition is expected to enhance Imarticus' capabilities in enterprise learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and workforce development. The combined entity will employ over 1,100 individuals and operate across more than 25 offices in India and Singapore. BELLS contributes a network of over 150,000 alumni and seven training centers in Singapore.
This deal also grants Imarticus access to BELLS' existing partnerships with the Singapore government, SkillsFuture Singapore, and various regional enterprises. The company aims to leverage these connections to expand its footprint across ASEAN markets. Imarticus plans to establish the BELLS School of AI, focusing on AI training for professionals and businesses.
Founded in 2012, Imarticus Learning offers professional and executive education programs in finance, technology, and business. The acquisition of BELLS follows Imarticus' purchase of edtech platform MyCaptain for ₹50 crore in May 2025. The company is currently planning a ₹1,000 crore IPO.
