Immutep abstract on sarcoma trial accepted for ESMO Congress 2026
Biotechnology company Immutep Limited announced that its Phase II trial data for eftilagimod alfa in soft tissue sarcoma will be presented at the ESMO Congress 2026. The presentation will include health-related quality of life data.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Immutep Limited, a company developing immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, has announced that an abstract detailing health-related quality of life (HRQoL) data from the EFTISARC-NEO Phase II trial has been accepted for presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026. The congress is scheduled to take place in Madrid, Spain, from October 23-27, 2026.
The trial, an investigator-initiated study, evaluated Immutep's first-in-class MHC Class II agonist, eftilagimod alfa (efti), in combination with pembrolizumab and radiotherapy for patients with soft tissue sarcoma (STS). The presentation will focus on the HRQoL outcomes from this neoadjuvant treatment regimen.
