SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Immutep Limited, a company developing immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, has announced that an abstract detailing health-related quality of life (HRQoL) data from the EFTISARC-NEO Phase II trial has been accepted for presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026. The congress is scheduled to take place in Madrid, Spain, from October 23-27, 2026.

The trial, an investigator-initiated study, evaluated Immutep's first-in-class MHC Class II agonist, eftilagimod alfa (efti), in combination with pembrolizumab and radiotherapy for patients with soft tissue sarcoma (STS). The presentation will focus on the HRQoL outcomes from this neoadjuvant treatment regimen.

The full abstract is set to be published online on the ESMO Congress 2026 website on October 19, 2026. Immutep will also make the presentation available on its own website following the event. Immutep is a late-stage biotechnology company focused on immunotherapy, with a pipeline leveraging its expertise in Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3 (LAG-3).
