InCoax and Sjoberg Activate Multi-Building Network Deployment

InCoax Networks announced the initial activation of a planned multi-building deployment for Sjoberg's Inc., a family-owned cable operator established in 1962 and based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

The initial phase of the rollout covers multiple buildings and aims to enhance the speed and reliability of internet connections for the cable operator's customers. The deployed technology is based on Nokia's Gigabit Connect solution, which leverages MoCA Access technology. This solution enables gigabit speeds over existing coaxial cable networks.

According to InCoax, this activation represents a significant step in the commercial utilization of MoCA Access technology in the North American market. Sjoberg's Inc. seeks to meet the growing demand for faster and more stable network connections, particularly in multi-dwelling units where expanding traditional solutions can be challenging.

Sjoberg's Inc. has operated for over 60 years, providing services in Minnesota. This project is part of the company's strategy to modernize its network infrastructure and offer improved services in a competitive market. The full completion of the deployment is anticipated in the near future.
