Independent Tests Reveal How Business Security Products Perform
AV-Comparatives' latest report tested 16 enterprise security products against real-world threats. Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and Elastic achieved the highest protection rates.

The Austrian testing institute AV-Comparatives has released the results of its "Business Security Test" covering March to June 2026. The test evaluated the performance of 16 enterprise security products against real-time threats.
The findings come at a time when companies continue to be disrupted by ransomware attacks and supply chain threats. Recent incidents, such as the Iranian hacking group's breach at medical device manufacturer Stryker and the Nitrogen group's data theft at Foxconn, highlight the need for reliable security solutions.
The test assessed each product's ability to defend against malware, minimize false positives, and its impact on system performance. All tested products successfully avoided false alarms on professional software, a significant factor for IT administrators.
Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and Elastic achieved the highest protection rates (99.8%) in the real-time tests. In the malware protection test, Elastic led with 100%, followed by Avast and Norton at 99.8%. Regarding performance, ESET and Kaspersky showed the lowest system impact.
Fifteen of the sixteen products received the "Approved Business Product Award." AV-Comparatives CEO Andreas Clementi emphasized that the tests provide businesses with data-driven insights for selecting robust security solutions amidst evolving cyber threats.
