Indian Resale Startup Circle Raises Seed Funding

Circle, a Bengaluru-based managed marketplace for pre-owned goods, has secured 250 million rupees (approximately $2.63 million) in seed funding. The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners.

The capital will be used to expand operations beyond Bengaluru, as well as invest in AI-powered verification, Trust Hubs, and logistics. Existing investors Titan Capital and Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry participated, with Delhivery COO Ajith Pai joining as an angel investor.

Since its launch in 2025, Circle reports facilitating around 250 million rupees in sales. The platform has attracted over one million visitors and generated 100,000 listings in Bengaluru.

India's recommerce market was valued at $5.91 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow through 2029. Regulatory frameworks in India emphasize traceability for e-commerce.
