Indian startup funding experienced a sharp decline in the final week of June, with companies raising a total of approximately $104.6 million across 21 deals between June 28 and July 3. This marks a substantial decrease from the previous week, which saw $1.1 billion raised in 16 deals.

The prior week's funding was significantly boosted by CRED's $900 million Series H round. Excluding this exceptionally large round, startup funding still saw a weekly decline of over 50%.

The largest single funding round of the week was secured by e-commerce company The Indus Valley, which raised $17 million in its Series B round. The e-commerce sector was the most active, attracting a total of $29.6 million across four deals.

Real estate tech firm Incuspaze secured the second-largest funding amount with $15.9 million. Other notable funding rounds included BatX Energies' $11 million Series A for its clean tech and EV focus, and Kapture CX's $10 million in enterprise tech.
