Indian startups collectively raised approximately $142.3 million across 11 deals during the final week of July, from the 27th to the 31st. This marks a 32% decrease from the $209.1 million secured by 14 startups in the preceding week.

The technology sector continued to lead in funding, with AI startups attracting the largest portion of capital, totaling around $92.8 million from three separate deals. Among the week's significant funding rounds were Freehand, an AI application layer company that secured $75 million, and Arboreal Bioinnovations, a provider of manufacturing solutions, which raised $24 million.

Omnivore was the sole investor to participate in funding rounds for multiple companies this week, investing in both Arboreal Bioinnovations and Sid's Farm.

Five startups at the seed stage collectively raised approximately $11.8 million. The largest seed-stage round was Fixxly's $5.5 million funding.
