Indian Startups Raised $72 Million in Funding This Week
Indian startup funding reached $71.9 million across 17 deals between July 4-10, marking a decline from the previous week.

Indian startups secured approximately $71.9 million in funding across 17 deals during the week of July 4-10. This figure represents a 31% decrease compared to the $104.6 million raised by 21 startups in the preceding week.
The largest funding round of the week was for Elevate Education, an edtech company that raised $17.7 million in a Series D round led by WestBridge Capital. The e-commerce sector was the second highest funded, with Purple Style Labs securing $17 million in debt financing.
Other notable funding rounds included Aukera's $10 million debt financing, Wheelocity's $8.5 million round in the agritech sector, and Econovus Packaging's $4.2 million pre-Series A round.
Several early-stage startups also received funding. Five early-stage companies, including three pre-seed and two seed rounds, collectively raised about $11.2 million. Notable among these were thumpN's $3.8 million pre-seed round and Mowito's $3 million pre-seed raise.
