Indian Startups Raised Over $210 Million; Third Wave Coffee, MATTER Among Top Fundraisers
Indian startups secured a combined $210.3 million in funding last week, with a notable focus on e-commerce and advanced hardware/technology sectors.

Indian startups collectively raised $210.3 million in funding between August 24 and August 28, marking a slight dip from the previous week's $233.2 million. The activity involved 23 startups.
The e-commerce and advanced hardware & technology sectors led the funding rounds, attracting $108.4 million together, which constituted over half of the total capital raised during the period.
Third Wave Coffee, operating in the e-commerce space, secured $43 million, becoming a significant contributor to the sector's total. In advanced hardware, Airbound raised $37 million.
Other sectors like AI and clean tech also saw multiple funding deals. Early-stage startups also attracted investment, with three seed and pre-seed companies raising a combined $3.45 million.
