Indosat and F5 Partner on AI Suite for Asian Businesses
Indonesian telecom Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and US firm F5 have launched the Indosat Intelligence Suite, combining AI models and infrastructure to simplify adoption for Asian businesses and meet local regulations.

Indonesian telecommunications company Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has partnered with Seattle-based application delivery and security firm F5 to launch the Indosat Intelligence Suite. The platform aims to provide businesses across Asia with integrated AI models and infrastructure.
The suite is designed to reduce the need for companies to build their own AI infrastructure. It includes governance features and local hosting options, which can assist businesses in complying with data residency requirements in countries like Indonesia. Indosat stated that the suite incorporates over 300 open and closed AI models.
F5's technology, such as BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes and its AI Gateway, supports the platform by offering tenant isolation, container security, and AI governance. This collaboration leverages Indosat’s existing AI infrastructure in Indonesia and aligns with the country's broader push for sovereign AI capabilities.
Local data processing is available through Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted tiers. This offering is significant as Indonesian regulations mandate certain electronic system operators to store data within the country, influencing routing to global AI models.
