Indra Unveils SQUALL Low-Cost Cruise Missile
Indra has unveiled the SQUALL cruise missile, designed for precision strikes at ranges exceeding 300 kilometres and deployment from land and naval platforms.
Indra has introduced SQUALL, a new low-cost cruise missile developed for long-range precision strikes.
The missile is designed to engage high-value targets, such as command centres and air defence systems, at distances over 300 kilometres. SQUALL is intended to fly at low altitudes to evade radar detection and incorporates multiple guidance technologies to maintain accuracy under electronic jamming conditions.
Designed for flexible deployment, SQUALL can be integrated with both land and naval platforms, launching from ramps, containers, or tactical vehicles. Indra is presenting the missile as a more affordable alternative to conventional missiles, suitable for both individual precision missions and larger coordinated attacks.
The company emphasizes SQUALL's resilience through a national supply chain to support production in times of crisis. The missile expands Indra's defence portfolio, which includes counter-drone systems and effector drones.
