Industrial energy storage firm Yilanke secures tens of millions in funding
Chinese industrial energy storage company Yilanke has completed a Series A financing round, raising tens of millions of yuan. The funds will support expansion of its manufacturing capabilities and global service network.
Yilanke (亿兰科), a Chinese company specializing in core power electronics for industrial energy storage, has successfully closed a Series A financing round, securing tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by a follow-on investment from Timeshare Capital (时代伯乐). The capital infusion is earmarked for enhancing its manufacturing center in Zhongshan, expanding its localized overseas service network, and furthering the development and deployment of new products such as AIDC power supplies and SST modules.
Founded in December 2021, Yilanke focuses on the industrial and commercial energy storage sector, particularly the power conversion system (PCS) segment. The company utilizes a modular technological approach, offering power electronic equipment and system solutions for industrial energy storage and microgrid applications. Headquartered in Shenzhen with a branch in Hangzhou, its core team comprises experts from top universities and leading power electronics firms, bringing comprehensive experience in R&D, production, supply chain management, and global delivery.
The industrial energy storage market is at a critical juncture. While projections indicate strong growth in China and globally through 2026, the underlying market dynamics are shifting. China's electricity market reforms, including the transition to market-driven pricing for fixed time-of-use electricity rates in 2026, are eroding the traditional profit model based on peak-valley price arbitrage. This necessitates that energy storage companies generate value through real-world operational efficiencies rather than policy-driven benefits.
Concurrently, Yilanke is strategically expanding its international presence, aiming for overseas end-user business to reach 75% by 2025 and 85% by mid-2026. The company has developed a modular solution enabling flexible combinations of functions such as peak shaving, solar energy utilization, and backup power. Yilanke's products have been shipped to over 60 countries and regions.
