InfiMotion Technology Debuts E-Drive Capabilities in Wuxi

InfiMotion Technology made its public debut as an independent global supplier for the automotive industry at a technology showcase in Wuxi, China, on July 16. The event served to demonstrate the company's integrated capabilities, spanning global research and development, rigorous validation processes, and precision manufacturing in the new-energy vehicle (NEV) drivetrain sector.

CEO Joe Lin stated that InfiMotion has spent years refining its e-drive technology for major global automakers and is now ready to serve a wider market. The company's global R&D network includes over 1,000 engineers across facilities in China and Sweden, collaborating in real time via cloud platforms. The R&D is informed by extreme real-world conditions, including European autobahns, Nordic cold starts, and tropical climates.

InfiMotion has achieved several industry firsts, including China's first self-developed 400V SiC EDU in 2021. In 2024, it launched the world's first 11-in-1 domain-controlled EDU, and in 2025, it released the first mass-produced magnesium-aluminum alloy dual-motor EDU and a lightweight 900V magnesium alloy EDU. The company also holds specific certifications like ASPICE Level 3 and ASIL-D.

The company operates five smart manufacturing bases in China, emphasizing high automation and micron-level precision in its processes. InfiMotion supplies e-drive systems across the 400V–900V spectrum for various vehicle classes. It is a supplier to automotive brands including Geely, Volvo, and JLR, and ranked among China's top three suppliers for motor and inverter shipments in the first half of 2026.
