Info Edge Reports 43% YoY Profit Increase in Q1 FY27

Info Edge, the parent company of the Indian job portal Naukri, reported a significant year-over-year increase in its net profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. The company's profit after tax (PAT) rose by 43% to ₹490.1 crore, compared to ₹342.9 crore in the same period last year.

Despite the strong year-over-year performance, the company experienced a 35% sequential decline in profit, falling from ₹755.7 crore in the previous quarter. Operating revenue for the quarter increased by 11% year-over-year to ₹880.7 crore. Including other income of ₹192.3 crore, Info Edge's total revenue for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹1,073 crore.

Total expenses for Info Edge saw a marginal increase of 3% year-over-year, reaching ₹580.4 crore during the first quarter. The company's performance reflects the ongoing dynamics in India's digital services market, with Naukri being a key player in online recruitment.
