Info Edge Reports 87 Percent Profit Increase in Second Quarter

Info Edge, the parent company of recruitment platform Naukri, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹649.8 crore for the quarter ending September, marking an 87% increase compared to the ₹347.5 crore recorded in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, profits rose by 32.6% from the previous quarter.

Revenue from operations reached ₹903.9 crore, representing a 12.2% year-over-year growth. The significant boost in bottom-line performance was largely attributed to other income, which climbed 164.8% to ₹428.4 crore. Total expenses for the firm saw a modest increase of 4.5%, reaching ₹588.6 crore.

The company’s board of directors has approved an interim dividend of ₹3 per share. Shareholders on record as of November 6 will be eligible for the payout, which is scheduled to be distributed on or after November 23.
