Infomaniak has enhanced its video-on-demand service by adding a new feature that allows users to trim and edit uploaded videos directly through the platform.
Swiss technology company Infomaniak has expanded the capabilities of its video-on-demand (VOD) service. A new tool now enables users to trim and edit videos uploaded to their platform directly through the system.
The functionality specifically applies to video content and cannot be used for audio-only files. The editing process involves trimming the original video to a desired length. According to Infomaniak, the original video file will be preserved, and the trimming function will generate a new version.
Users can access the new trimming feature via Infomaniak's customer management interface. Instructions indicate that media management is accessible by logging in and selecting the relevant product. From there, users navigate to "Media" and then "Media Management." Within this section, they can select the specific media for editing and initiate the trimming process.
Following the saving of the edited video, users have the option to delete the original version if it is no longer required. This enhancement aims to improve content management for video professionals and creators utilizing Infomaniak's VOD solution.
