Infomaniak Introduces Email Filtering Rule Template Tool

Infomaniak, an email service provider, has launched a new tool that allows for the creation of filtering rule templates within its Mail web application. This feature, integrated into their kSuite platform, is designed to streamline email management, particularly for business users.

The new "create rule template" functionality enables users to pre-define the logic for email filtering without requiring each individual user to reconfigure the same conditions. A template will include the criteria that trigger an action, but the end-user ultimately chooses the specific action to be performed, such as moving emails to a designated folder.

Infomaniak states this facilitates implementation and ensures consistency across the service. While templates can aid in automatic sorting, the company emphasizes that rules for individual email addresses cannot be applied to multiple addresses simultaneously due to privacy concerns. Templates can also be hidden if not needed.

The tool is accessed via Infomaniak's management console, where administrators can establish templates and control their visibility for end-users. This enhancement is part of Infomaniak's ongoing effort to provide tools for efficient digital collaboration and data management within its sovereign, EU-compliant ecosystem.
