Infomaniak launches guide and tool for newsletter creation

Infomaniak, a provider of digital communication services, has launched a new how-to guide and associated tool for creating and distributing newsletters. This initiative aims to facilitate regular and targeted communication from businesses and organizations to their subscriber base.

The new tool is designed to offer more than traditional email services, including features for template design, subscriber list management, and detailed analysis of sending performance. Infomaniak highlights newsletters as key for periodic information dissemination, such as sharing news, updates, and promotions with a specific audience.

Operating through its own browser-based interface, the newsletter tool is separate from Infomaniak's standard email service. Prior to use, users must import their existing contacts who have given explicit consent. The service requires users to own a domain name for sending, with necessary DNS configurations if the domain is not managed by Infomaniak.

Sending newsletters requires "credits," where one credit corresponds to one newsletter sent to one subscriber. Infomaniak emphasizes the importance of recipient consent via a double opt-in process and strongly prohibits the use of purchased or rented address lists, which can lead to account suspension.

The process to activate the newsletter service involves a free subscription via Infomaniak's manager portal, where the user selects the domain name to be used. The company's support site offers comprehensive instructions for initial setup, contact import, and campaign management.
