Infosys and ABN AMRO Expand Strategic Collaboration to Accelerate AI Transformation

IT services company Infosys and Dutch bank ABN AMRO Bank have expanded their strategic collaboration to accelerate the bank's AI-driven transformation. The agreement focuses on simplifying and modernizing ABN AMRO's IT landscape through application development, testing, and support services.

The partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. Infosys will utilize its Infosys Topaz offering, which integrates generative and agent-based AI technologies, to embed AI deeper into the bank's technology infrastructure. This is intended to enable the bank to translate data into actionable insights and improve the delivery of digital services.

Carsten Bittner, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer at ABN AMRO Bank, stated that the renewed collaboration will help further simplify and modernize their IT landscape while accelerating the responsible adoption of AI across the organization. He also highlighted goals related to improving operational efficiency and delivering greater customer value.

Jay Nair, EVP and Head of Financial Services and Public Services at Infosys, described the contract extension as a significant milestone in the relationship. He emphasized Infosys's expertise, global delivery model, and the capabilities of Infosys Topaz in reshaping core systems and simplifying complex IT environments to operationalize AI.
