IT services provider Infosys and Dutch bank ABN AMRO have announced an extension of their strategic collaboration. The renewed agreement aims to simplify the bank's IT infrastructure and accelerate its adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. Infosys will provide application development, testing, and support services to enhance ABN AMRO's operational efficiency and scalability.
The collaboration will focus on moving beyond isolated AI initiatives to enterprise-wide adoption. Infosys will leverage its AI-first "Topaz" offering to help ABN AMRO embed AI more deeply across its technology systems. The objective is to translate data into insight-driven innovations and improve the delivery of digital services.
Carsten Bittner, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer at ABN AMRO, stated that the renewed collaboration will further simplify and modernize the IT landscape while accelerating the responsible adoption of AI. He also highlighted expectations for improved operational efficiency, greater customer value, and reduced complexity and operating costs.
