Frankfurt am Main – ING Deutschland has launched new fixed-term deposit accounts as part of its business banking portfolio. This new offering is designed for small and medium-sized companies, as well as sole proprietors, seeking to securely invest their liquid assets and earn interest.

The accounts complement ING Deutschland's existing business services, which include business accounts, interest-bearing current accounts, and financing solutions. Customers can choose deposit terms of three, six, or twelve months, with annual interest rates ranging from 1.6% to 2.2%.

Serge Offers, Head of Business Banking at ING Deutschland, stated that many small and medium-sized businesses currently hold a significant amount of liquidity that remains uninvested. "With the fixed-term deposit offering, we are creating a straightforward way to invest these funds predictably and with interest," Offers said. "This provides financial flexibility for future investments and growth."

The account can be opened entirely online. Minimum deposit amounts are €5,000, and maximum deposits per account are €500,000. The service is available to existing clients with a business account or a Business Extra account at ING Deutschland. Funds become available immediately upon maturity of the chosen term.
