ING Deutschland Pauses KfW Funding Applications Amid Rule Changes
ING Deutschland will halt new applications for KfW-261 financing from July 14, 2026, due to upcoming revisions of KfW's funding conditions. The new regulations are set to take effect on July 21, 2026.

ING Deutschland announced it will suspend the acceptance of new applications for KfW-261 financing starting July 14, 2026. The decision stems from the German development bank KfW's upcoming revision of its funding conditions, scheduled to be implemented on July 21, 2026.
The bank stated that technical prerequisites must be established before the new conditions can be applied. Applications submitted before the July 14 deadline will be processed under the existing regulations.
Regarding confirmation of application (BzA), ING Deutschland will not be able to issue new BzA IDs until July 21, 2026. Existing BzA IDs remain valid and can be submitted for applications under the old conditions until July 13, 2026. From July 21 onwards, new BzA IDs will be issued exclusively according to the revised KfW guidelines.
ING Deutschland advises clients to consult KfW's official website for detailed information on the new funding conditions and will provide updates relevant to ING customers through its newsletter.
