ING Deutschland Schedules System Maintenance for July 17-18

ING Deutschland has announced scheduled service work that will affect its online banking services. Both the online banking platform and the ING mobile app will be unavailable from Saturday, July 17, 2026, starting at midnight, until approximately 2:00 PM CET on Sunday, July 18. This downtime will also impact the ability to send or receive instant payments.

The maintenance is part of the bank's regular efforts to update its systems and ensure data security and performance. These extensive technical updates, referred to as "Business Releases," occur roughly three times per year and involve significant changes to the bank's backend systems and databases.

ING Deutschland performs these updates to maintain the latest technology standards and ensure the ongoing security of customer data. While the complex backend adjustments are scheduled overnight to minimize disruption, the customer-facing online and mobile banking services must be taken offline during the process.

Despite the planned downtime for online services, customers will still be able to make payments using their cards or mobile payment solutions like Apple Pay and Google Pay. The bank requests understanding from its customers regarding this necessary interruption.
