INmune Bio and Quantum Computing Inc. Partner for Alzheimer's Drug Research
INmune Bio and Quantum Computing Inc. are collaborating to leverage quantum computing and AI in the research of XPro, a drug candidate for Alzheimer's disease.

INmune Bio Inc. and Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) have announced a collaboration aimed at applying quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) to advance research on XPro, an investigational treatment for Alzheimer's disease.
The partnership integrates INmune Bio's data from pre-clinical research and clinical trials, along with its understanding of disease biology, with QCi's Dirac-3S quantum optimization machine. The companies plan to utilize quantum computing alongside AI and conventional data analytics on clinical and publicly available biomedical datasets.
The objective is to identify potential new applications for XPro and discover biomarkers. By analyzing data, the companies aim to uncover relationships between diseases driven by the same biology that XPro targets, thereby prioritizing indications with the greatest potential for success. This collaboration marks QCi's first commercial customer in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
Alzheimer's disease research faces significant challenges. The application of emerging technologies like quantum computing offers new avenues for drug development. INmune Bio's XPro is designed to target inflammatory processes associated with various neurodegenerative conditions.
