Innisfree Hotels has begun construction on two new projects in Pensacola, Florida, designed to strengthen the local economy and provide community benefits.
The company broke ground this month on the future Hampton Inn by Hilton Pensacola Beach and the new Hive Arts Academy. The hotel is anticipated to open in 2028, while the arts academy is set to open next summer. The hotel project will expand the region's tourism capacity, and the arts academy will offer local youth opportunities for creative development.
The new 215-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Pensacola Beach will be Innisfree's sixth hotel on Pensacola Beach and seventh in Escambia County. The hotel is expected to employ approximately 150 local residents and generate over $16.6 million in anticipated annual tax revenues. This expansion will bring Innisfree's local workforce to over 825 employees.
The Hive Arts Academy, operated through Innisfree's Hive Foundation, will provide programs for students in grades 8 through 12 in visual arts, sculpture, culinary arts, sewing, fiber arts, and fabrication. The academy's new facility will include studios, gallery space, and maker spaces. Both projects are expected to contribute to the economic growth of the Pensacola area and offer significant benefits to the local community.
