Insight Optix has announced a major update to its Legal Hold Evolve platform, shifting from individual case management to a centralized, enterprise-level approach. The update aims to move legal hold processes away from siloed operations by retaining historical data and operational knowledge across all corporate matters.
The updated software introduces automation for preservation and reporting, alongside expanded integrations with Google Workspace, Box, and Dropbox to complement its existing Microsoft 365 compatibility. These integrations provide legal teams with visibility into custodian data sources and facilitate automated in-place preservation, which is intended to reduce administrative manual work.
CEO Mandi Ross stated that the update is designed to make legal hold a strategic asset rather than a point-in-time compliance task. By utilizing cross-matter dashboards and recurring data steward questionnaires, the company intends to help legal teams maintain consistent retention policies and reduce the redundant efforts typically associated with discovery.
