InstaAstro Secures $12 Million for AI Tools and Pooja Services Expansion

Online astrology startup InstaAstro announced it has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round, led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund. The company intends to use the fresh capital to expand into new regional and international markets, enhance its pooja seva (religious ritual) services, and grow its product business.

A significant portion of the funds will be allocated to artificial intelligence-driven product development. InstaAstro plans to introduce sentiment analysis tools to assist astrologers in providing more context-aware consultations and expand multilingual support to improve service quality across different languages. Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro connects users with experts in astrology, tarot, numerology, and vastu.

The platform offers live consultations, pooja seva, astrology courses, and related products. InstaAstro claims to have 12 million registered users and over 5,000 verified experts across 183 countries. International markets currently contribute approximately 25% of the company's revenue.

InstaAstro has reported crossing ₹200 crore (approximately $21 million) in annualized revenue. The latest funding brings the startup's total funding to about $14.73 million. This investment occurs as India's digital astrology and faith commerce market is projected to reach $1.8 billion by 2030, indicating increasing investor interest in the sector.
