According to an announcement on Tuesday, 'First Draft' provides a starting point for users, which can then be further customized with other editing tools. The feature analyzes video content to identify and retain key segments while removing pauses and less crucial parts.
An example shared by Instagram demonstrated how users can select multiple clips, each exceeding one minute in length. Upon activating the 'First Draft' button, Instagram processes these clips, shortening them to eliminate dead air and highlight essential content before compiling them into a single sequence.
