InstaMed Appoints CEO, Prepares To Launch New Peptide Platform
Biotech firm InstaMed Pharmaceuticals has appointed Tracy Gibbs as its new Chief Executive Officer. The company is also preparing for the global launch of its novel oral dissolving peptide film platform.

SALT LAKE CITY – Biotech firm InstaMed Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment of Tracy Gibbs, PhD, as its new Chief Executive Officer. The leadership change occurs as the 14-month-old company prepares for the August 3 worldwide launch of its patented InstaRelease® oral dissolving peptide film platform, aiming to advance needle-free peptide delivery.
The company's technology is supported by data from double-blind pharmacokinetic studies and nine pending patents. Gibbs brings decades of experience in nutrient absorption science and advanced delivery technologies to the role. InstaMed positions its platform as a clinical-grade, non-invasive alternative to traditional injectable peptide therapies.
InstaMed states that its oral dissolving strip technology allows active compounds to dissolve via the oral mucosa, bypassing gastrointestinal degradation for potentially more efficient absorption. The company cites recent pharmacokinetic study data indicating faster absorption and more consistent peptide levels compared to conventional administration methods.
"Peptide industry is evolving rapidly, and expanding patient access depends on delivery technologies that are both effective and convenient," said Gibbs. "Our clinical data demonstrates that patients no longer have to choose between therapeutic performance and a non-invasive delivery method."
On August 3, InstaMed will launch five new peptide products leveraging its platform. These include formulations targeting metabolic pathways, weight management, sleep support, cellular energy production, and cognitive performance. The company is also expanding its international presence and manufacturing capabilities.
