Insurance startup Corgi reportedly raises more money at $4B valuation

San Francisco, CA โ€“ July 23, 2026 โ€“ Corgi, a startup specializing in insurance technology and data room software, has reportedly secured significant new funding, according to sources cited by Forbes. The company is said to have closed a new financing round that values it at $4 billion. This marks the third funding round Corgi has announced in just eight weeks.

The company's latest public fundraising announcement was its B1 round at the end of May, where it raised $106 million at a $2.6 billion valuation. The newly reported round is described as a second extension of its Series B and represents a rapid increase in valuation.

Corgi, an alumnus of the Y Combinator summer 2024 cohort, has experienced a rapid growth trajectory. The current strong investor interest in AI and technology startups has led to frequent funding rounds and increasing valuations, but Corgi's pace stands out even in this environment.

Previously, in January, Corgi raised a $108 million Series A round. This latest infusion of capital is expected to further solidify Corgi's market position and support its ongoing expansion and product development efforts in the insurtech sector.
