Integrated Water Services Launches New Wastewater Treatment System

Austin, Texas – Integrated Water Services (IWS), a provider of modular wastewater treatment and reuse systems, has announced the launch of the Rapid Series™ Slot Injector. The system, developed by its subsidiary KLa Systems, is a pre-engineered, skid-mounted aeration and mixing package designed to enhance oxygen transfer efficiency in industrial and municipal wastewater applications without requiring system shutdowns.

Traditionally, increasing aeration capacity in industrial processing and water reclamation facilities necessitates taking treatment tanks offline, leading to costly operational disruptions and potential plant shutdowns. The Rapid Series Slot Injector bypasses these issues by offering a fully assembled solution that can be directly installed into live basins with minimal to no downtime.

The system is engineered for demanding industrial applications, including food and beverage, pulp and paper, and chemical manufacturing, as well as municipal activated sludge processes. It achieves high gas dissolution and oxygen transfer efficiency while optimizing energy and air consumption. The product is available for both outright capital purchase and operational leasing.

"Wastewater operators are constantly forced to balance increasing capacity demands against the severe financial penalties of plant downtime," said Beau Johnston, Sr. VP Industrial Solutions at IWS. "By integrating modular design with KLa's proven jet aeration technology, the RS Slot Injector gives facilities a definitive upgrade lever, bringing high-performance treatment online in days rather than months without taking their biological process offline." IWS, focused on heavy industrial solutions and leveraging KLa Systems' expertise, is owned by Sciens Water.
