Intel has confirmed plans to raise prices on some of its processors, according to a report by "First Financial" (第一财经). This development follows earlier price hikes seen in memory components like DRAM and NAND Flash.

The chip manufacturer stated that the price adjustments are a result of regularly monitoring supply chain costs and market dynamics. These changes are described as a response to evolving market conditions.

The price increases are expected to affect select consumer-grade Core Ultra processors and Xeon server processors. High-end Xeon server products may see price bumps ranging from 7% to 12%, while entry-level models are likely to remain unchanged. On the consumer side, adjustments will target specific models, including the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.

Recent industry sources also suggested Intel's intention to ramp up production for its 13th and 14th generation Core processors, which could lead to increased availability. These adjustments occur within a broader context of fluctuating component prices and supply chain challenges impacting the technology sector.
