Intel releases version 1.5 of One Mono typeface
Intel has updated its open-source font project, One Mono, to version 1.5, adding support for Braille and Powerline symbols.
Intel has released version 1.5 of its open-source typeface, One Mono, aimed primarily at software developers. The update introduces native support for Braille and Powerline symbols, significantly broadening the font's utility for developers working within command-line interfaces.
The updated package brings the total glyph count to 1,385. In addition to the new symbols, the version 1.5 release includes expanded support for Latin characters and addresses several minor technical defects found in previous iterations. The update is currently available via the project's repository on GitHub.
Initially launched in 2023, the One Mono project faced a temporary suspension of development in September 2024. The project was resumed shortly thereafter, and this latest update marks the continued maintenance of the font library.
