IntelliGenome Appoints SIMED as Exclusive Distributor for CRISPR-TB™ in Peru and Ecuador

IntelliGenome, Inc. announced on September 8, 2026, that SIMED S.A. has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for its CRISPR-TB™ Blood Test in Peru and Ecuador. This partnership aims to enhance the accessibility of tuberculosis diagnostics in the region.

The CRISPR-TB™ Blood Test provides a rapid and accurate method for detecting tuberculosis from a blood sample, offering an alternative to conventional diagnostic procedures. SIMED S.A., with established experience in medical device distribution within Latin America, will manage the sales and marketing efforts for the test in both territories.

IntelliGenome has secured DIGEMID registration approval for the CRISPR-TB Blood Test. This regulatory milestone is expected to facilitate the adoption of the test by healthcare providers in Peru and Ecuador.
