Rudolf Staiger, President of DVW e.V., will open the conference on September 24, emphasizing opportunities for international expert exchange and showcasing cutting-edge technologies. Juliane Seifert, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior, will address the significance of geoinformation for policy-making, particularly concerning climate change and resource management.
A key keynote by Dr. Walther Pelzer, President of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), will explore earth observation's role in tackling climate change. Dr. Burkhard Boeckem, CTO of Hexagon AB, is set to discuss how AI, digital twins, and precise geodata can lead to better decision-making and efficiency.
The INTERGEO EXPO will feature approximately 600 exhibitors.
