International Fellowship of Christians and Jews monitors attack in Jordan

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has initiated contact with local Christian leaders in Jordan’s Karak province following a fatal shooting at a church on October 23, 2026. The organization stated it is monitoring reports from the site to assess the scale of the violence.

While details regarding the casualties and the identities of the perpetrators remain preliminary, the Fellowship has begun coordinating with regional partners. The organization acts as a liaison for humanitarian support and interfaith communication across the Middle East.

The Fellowship continues to collect information from local contacts to determine what form of assistance or intervention may be required in the aftermath of the incident.
