International Logistics Group Opens 100,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse in Northampton
International Logistics Group has expanded operations beyond Southeast England with the launch of a new distribution facility in Northampton.
International Logistics Group (ILG) has opened a 100,000-square-foot warehouse in the Brackmills industrial area of Northampton. This facility marks the company’s first significant expansion outside of its traditional base in Southeast England.
The new site features automated 'put to light' picking systems and integrated labeling technology. With nine loading docks designed for high-volume intake and dispatch, the facility is capable of processing up to 35,000 orders per day during peak periods. The Midlands location also allows ILG to extend carrier cut-off times to 10:00 p.m.
Cosmetics brand Charlotte Tilbury served as the facility's anchor tenant. Jeremy Dixon-Wright, Global Supply Chain Director at Charlotte Tilbury, noted that the move enabled the company to improve carrier options and production flows compared to their previous location at Sterling Park.
As the largest facility in ILG’s portfolio, the Brackmills site is intended to support the company's growing roster of e-commerce and retail clients in the fashion, beauty, and premium electronics sectors.
