International Logistics Group Opens Polish Warehouse to Mitigate Brexit Trade Barriers
International Logistics Group has launched a new distribution center in Wroclaw, Poland, to maintain supply chain continuity for clients operating within the European Union.

International Logistics Group (ILG) has commenced operations at a new warehouse in Wroclaw, Poland. The company initiated the project in 2020 as a strategic contingency plan following the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union, which introduced customs duties and logistical friction for businesses shipping between the UK and the EU.
The location in western Poland was selected due to its proximity to the German market and existing transport infrastructure, supported by the resources of parent company Yusen Logistics. The facility is designed to allow clients to store inventory within the EU, bypassing the customs protocols required for cross-border shipments originating from the UK.
Eleven initial clients have transitioned operations to the site, which is expected to process tens of thousands of orders monthly. ILG anticipates that the facility will operate at full capacity by the end of 2021, and projects that continental European operations will account for 30 percent of the company's total business by 2025.
