International media visit technology firms in Yuhang, Hangzhou
Journalists from four countries toured technology hubs and agricultural sites in Hangzhou's Yuhang District to review advancements in robotics and digitalization.

Representatives from media outlets in South Korea, Turkey, the U.S., and Cuba visited the Yuhang District in Hangzhou between October 26 and 28. The tour focused on how the region is integrating industrial innovation with digital technologies across manufacturing and agriculture.
The itinerary included visits to 3D solutions provider Scantech and exoskeleton robotics firm RoboCT. At RoboCT, journalists observed demonstrations of rehabilitation robots and brain-computer interface technology intended for individuals with motor impairments. Additionally, the group visited Xynova, a developer of components for humanoid robotics, to evaluate the performance of dexterous robotic manipulators.
The tour also highlighted the implementation of technology in primary industries at the Qianxi ecological agricultural park. Operators there utilize AI-managed systems to monitor and optimize rice cultivation, marking an effort to bridge the gap between rural production and digital efficiency.
This visit served to showcase Yuhang’s ongoing shift toward a digital economy, emphasizing a broader regional strategy to stimulate growth through the adoption of advanced automation and precision technology.
