The international variant of the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro smartphone has been detected through analysis of the GSMA IMEI database. The device, internally codenamed 'VENICE', carries the model number 26122PN61G, with the 'G' signifying its global nature, distinct from the Chinese model's M261DB designation.

A key feature expected to reach a global audience is the "Magic Share" rear display. This functionality, which allows for dynamic wallpapers, custom clock styles, animated characters, and virtual pets, gained significant traction in China with the Xiaomi 17 Pro. Previously exclusive to the Chinese market, its international release signifies a broader strategy for this feature.

Regarding market availability, reports suggest the Xiaomi 18 Pro will not be launched in India. Instead, the device is slated for release in markets including Turkey, the European Economic Area (EEA), Russia, and Japan.

Technical specifications reportedly include a custom, high-definition flat display with narrow, equal bezels. The phone is expected to be powered by a 2nm flagship chipset. Camera hardware is said to comprise a 200-megapixel main sensor and a secondary 200-megapixel telephoto macro lens. The device will be equipped with a large 7000 mAh battery, supporting charging speeds of up to 100W and wireless charging. Upgrades to dual speakers and a larger vibration motor are also rumored.
