Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division has received the award for Italy's Best Investment Bank at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026. The recognition was presented at a ceremony held in London last week.
The award confirms IMI CIB's leading position in the Italian investment banking market. Euromoney highlighted the division's business model, which combines specialist expertise, innovation, international reach, and support for the real economy. The division serves corporate clients, financial institutions, and public finance clients with services including advisory, capital markets, structured finance, and transaction banking.
Several other banks within Intesa Sanpaolo's International Banks Division also received awards, including entities in Croatia, Serbia, Egypt, and Hungary. These recognitions underscore Intesa Sanpaolo's broader international banking presence and its standing as a major banking group led by CEO Carlo Messina.
