Intracom Telecom Introduces 15 Gbps E-Band Radios

Intracom Telecom, a provider of telecommunication systems, has introduced two new E-band radio models offering up to 15 Gbps full duplex capacity. The new UltraLink™ family products, the GX80 Advanced and GX80 Dual, increase transmission capacity by 50% compared to existing market solutions.

The UltraLink™-GX80 Advanced is an all-outdoor radio designed for 15 Gbps operation in a single 1+0 configuration. It features a high system gain for extended link ranges, combining high-capacity transport with advanced networking functions. Smart monitoring features are included to support rapid diagnostics and capacity planning.

The UltraLink™-GX80 Dual utilizes a dual transceiver in a single 1000 MHz channel to achieve its 15 Gbps capacity. It offers high spectral efficiency, aiming to reduce spectrum costs per Gbps and potentially licensing expenses. The device's smaller form factor and reduced power consumption are intended to lower deployment complexity and costs.

According to the company, these new radios will enable customers to achieve significant capital and operational expenditure savings. Intracom Telecom has over 45 years of experience in telecommunications and has deployed nearly 50,000 millimeter-wave radios globally.
