Intuit Faces Securities Fraud Lawsuit After Stock Plummets Over 20%
A securities fraud class action lawsuit has been filed against Intuit Inc. following a significant drop in its stock price, which fell more than 20%.

A securities fraud class action lawsuit has been filed against Intuit Inc. and certain of its senior executives. The suit alleges that the company misled investors regarding the competitive advantages and growth prospects of its TurboTax product, contributing to a more than 20% drop in Intuit's stock price.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, claims Intuit made misrepresentations about its business momentum and the effectiveness of its AI integration. Investors were allegedly presented with an inaccurate positive outlook.
Intuit's stock experienced a sharp decline in May 2026. An initial drop occurred after reports of significant workforce reductions and office closures. This was followed by a larger decline after the company released its fiscal third-quarter financial results, which revealed a weaker-than-expected tax season and admitted to facing price pressure within the DIY tax filer segment.
Investors who purchased Intuit securities are encouraged to seek more information from the law firm Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP. The deadline to be appointed lead plaintiff in the case is September 8, 2026.
