InventHelp Develops Bracket to Aid Securing Cargo Straps
InventHelp has introduced the D D BRACKET, a new device designed to simplify securing cargo straps for ratchet tightening on the opposite side of a load. The invention stems from a professional truck driver's experience.
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 17, 2026 – InventHelp has unveiled the D D BRACKET, a new accessory intended to streamline the process of securing cargo straps in trucks and other transport vehicles.
The bracket was developed by a professional truck driver who identified challenges in fastening strap ends to the opposite side of a load for subsequent tightening with a ratchet. The D D BRACKET aims to address this operational difficulty.
Designed for attachment to the edge of a cargo area or a suitable mounting point, the bracket is intended to hold a strap end securely. This allows the user to move to the opposite side to tighten the strap without the strap end becoming dislodged. The design seeks to reduce the need to navigate around the entire load and potentially improve safety and efficiency.
InventHelp states that the D D BRACKET is constructed from durable materials and is engineered to be compatible with various cargo securing systems found on trucks and trailers. The invention is currently in a provisional patent phase, and InventHelp is seeking manufacturing partners or licensing agreements.
