He worked as an investor at venture capital firm Accel, where he focused on funding pre-seed and seed-stage startups. Throughout his career, he collaborated closely with founders, assisting them in the initial phases of their entrepreneurial journeys.

Agarwal's career in startup investment began at pi Ventures, followed by a tenure at Blume Ventures, and later Accel. He invested in several deeptech companies, including Ottonomy and QOSMIC. Agarwal was also an active angel investor.
