Investors Can Seek to Lead Class Action Lawsuit Against AST SpaceMobile
San Diego, CA โ September 30, 2026 โ Purchasers of AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTS) securities who experienced significant losses between March 4, 2025, and July 15, 2026, have until November 13, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed as Hunter v. AST SpaceMobile, Inc., alleges violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
The complaint charges AST SpaceMobile and certain of its top executives with making false or misleading statements and failing to disclose critical information. Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that defendants overstated the company's liquidity and capital position, underestimated its increasing capital requirements leading to greater debt and share dilution, and misrepresented its competitive standing in the direct-to-cellular satellite market.
Further allegations suggest that AST SpaceMobile experienced slow user adoption in the United States and Japan, which was not disclosed. These alleged misrepresentations and omissions are claimed to have had a significant negative impact on the company's business and financial prospects during the class period.
The Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 allows any investor who purchased AST SpaceMobile securities during the specified period and suffered substantial losses to seek lead plaintiff status. The lead plaintiff will direct the litigation and can select their preferred law firm. An investor's ability to share in any potential recovery is not dependent on serving as lead plaintiff.
