Investors file class action lawsuit against Baidu, Inc. over disclosure allegations
Shareholders have until November 13, 2026, to apply as lead plaintiff in a securities fraud lawsuit against the company.

A securities class action lawsuit has been filed against Baidu, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The litigation targets alleged misrepresentations regarding the company’s business operations between November 18, 2025, and August 17, 2026.
The complaint alleges that Baidu management overstated the capacity of its artificial intelligence division to offset declining revenue in its legacy marketing business. According to court filings, the company failed to adequately disclose the extent of these financial challenges, leading to significant investor losses when the decline in AI performance was revealed in August 2026.
Law firm Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP is representing the plaintiffs. The deadline for investors who suffered losses during the class period to seek the role of lead plaintiff is November 13, 2026.
