Investors Sell Sedemac Shares Worth ₹1,456.4 Cr

Institutional investors, including A91 Partners and Xponentia, have sold Sedemac shares worth a cumulative ₹1,456.38 Cr through multiple bulk deals. The transactions occurred shortly after the expiry of the lock-in period following the company's initial public offering (IPO).

According to data from the NSE, A91 Partners offloaded shares generating ₹484.9 Cr, while Xponentia sold shares for ₹507.4 Cr. Other notable sellers included Mace Private Limited and NJRN Family Trust. Significant buying interest came from entities such as the Government of Singapore and various asset management firms.

This marks the second instance of these investors reducing their stake in Sedemac. Earlier this year, investors participated in the company's IPO, which consisted solely of an offer for sale (OFS) component. During the IPO, Sedemac's investors collectively raised approximately ₹1,087 Cr from share sales.

Founded in 2007, Sedemac designs and manufactures electronic control systems for mobility and industrial applications, with the mobility segment contributing around 86% of its revenue. The company recently reported a significant financial improvement, with net profit soaring 95.1% year-over-year in the first quarter of FY27.
