INVI MindHealth to Provide Data Platform for Veteran Mental Health Study
INVI MindHealth will serve as the primary data integration hub for the AURORA protocol, a study tracking physiological and clinical biomarkers of recovery in U.S. veterans.

INVI MindHealth has been tapped to lead data integration for the AURORA (Assessment of Understanding, Recovery, Outcomes, and Resilience Across Interventions) project. The multi-site observational study, which recently received IRB approval, aims to identify objective physiological and behavioral indicators linked to recovery among U.S. military veterans undergoing various mental health interventions.
Funded by the ARPA-H EVIDENT initiative and led by researchers from Baylor College of Medicine and The Menninger Clinic, the protocol involves 175 participants. Over a six-month period, researchers will track patients using Oura smart rings, Epitel’s wearable EEG technology, and INVI’s software to log clinical outcomes and daily functioning.
Scientific Principal Investigator Dr. Lynnette A. Averill stated that the research seeks to move beyond sporadic clinical assessments to capture a longitudinal view of recovery. By integrating disparate data sources—ranging from autonomic function to self-reported behavior—the team intends to determine which specific physiological signals correlate with durable treatment success.
This framework will be hosted in INVI’s Multi-Source Trend Library, allowing researchers to harmonize data across distinct treatment programs. The project represents an attempt to quantify the biological and digital signatures of resilience and sustained mental health improvement.
